If you have the guts

I just had my last revision class and I'm so amazed by myself. I used to start studying one month in advance before the exams. Now, I'm
left with barely 2 weeks and yet, I'm still watching tv every night. Does growing old makes you more gutsy?

TAIWAN - DAY 6 (PART 2)

Doesn't these just make you go crazy?
#shutupandtakemymoney

*drum rolls* This is Wufenpu, wholesale/distributor of clothes!

It's mad love here!
When I was there, I wished that I was still selling clothes online because certain stores do not sell just 1 pcs, you have to get a few pcs for 1 design. *sob*

And those are the nicest ones, most in trend ones! But prices are not cheap like $5 (LOL). Even if you buy in bulk though many pieces, it still costs more than $10. But wtf who cares man, when it's mad chio, but I wasn't crazy enough to buy many pcs for one single design.

So, my choices were limited. The ones that are sold in single pieces are usually the clearance kind. They tend to have sales rack. Depending on stores, some stuffs are the sales rack are still of recent trend, staple wear etc, but they are selling it cheap because they only have like 1 or 2 pieces left. All the time, I just chiong for the sales rack because the non-sales items have to be bought in bulk not cos' I'm cheapo ok!!!).

I bought at least 6 cardigans here. I'm a sucker for outerwear! I should really do a video on the outerwear I have. They have those long sleeveless dress which I absolutely can't live without and always buy them online at min SGD16. They are selling those at SGD 4+ there, how not to go crazy and grab like siao?
But don't know why all freaking small and tight!!! HAHA!! I bought so many and went back to the hotel and try and then ended up feeling so FAT, all the fats all squeezed. fml.

Anyway, my greatest buy there was this kind of like knitted purple dress (with inner satin so not hot one!) for only $2+. It was tucked away in this container at one corner of the street so being cheapo (what? Treasures have to dig one!), I digged just take a look and pulled take out this purple one (even though dirt cheap, they still fold nicely one, not like Sg) and was really skeptical. Then Bei said "Wah Lao, so cheap, u still need to think so long?!!!" And I was like "I know, I'm definitely buying, just thinking should I buy all three colours?" *ashamed* so cheap, don't buy, I feel very guilty! But I bought one only in the end, cos typical singaporean thinks that "aiya, so cheap, don't know wear liao nice ma.."

WTF, it's so goregous on me! It's made for me!!

You can see the dress in this shopping haul video

No more pictures of Wufenpu, because it was "camera in bag, wallet out"
I only managed to shop at a few streets/parts because it was too BIG an area and Bei was showing black face (but he is such a darling, he carries all my shopping bags and even shelter me from rain while shopping, awww)

Took a picture of the train station showing where is where, maybe helpful for you if you wanna go. But seriously, I can't make out where to go from this. -.-

Don't you think the sign is erm very suggestive?

I love their pocky rice!! Why so nice!!

just have to show u one more picture!

This plate is so delicious! makes me wanna cry! You know, I hate pork but it is impossible to hate this! Bei forced me to try this and I ate one then I started to fight for it with him.

They are so generous with the herbs!

nice place, but everyone seems to have take away or eat very quickly and leave.

We went back to the hotel to wash up and get ready to PARTYYYYY!
We wanted to see to striptease, heard that the clubs there have those kind of striptease competition!

We asked the hotel staff where's the best place to party but they said they don't know -.- cos' they are old liao (they are very very nice people by the way, though they have no idea, they helped us search on the internet, etc etc, provide such good service, very sincere, melts my heart)

In the end, we hopped on the call that the hotel helped to book, and asked him to bring us to the wherever that has a party going on~~~

But I think we went to the wrong one -_-" because this club was too decent. MEHHH
No striptease, very sad! We waited and waited, still no striptease.

Wait until hungry, then Bei ordered food and apparently, he ordered the largest one ever

Went back to hotel feeling upset, no strip tease! :(

Even paid a higher price to be in the VIP area, thought that can chill comfortably and watch striptease! Why u no let me watch striptease?

Room very messy, hee!

Bought a pair of earrings during the trip. Ribbon + Blings + Pearls = take my money!
Recently, my friends bought me many many bling earrings too (muacks!!!), will show u guys later!

TAIWAN - DAY 6 (PART 1)

Coming to an end of our trip, we headed to Taipei 101, the must go for tourists!

Before that, we had our daily dose of bubble tea! Not just any bubble tea, but KOI!

Located near our hotel, just a stone throw away.

Took a bus to Taipei 101

The tourist must go:

It's like Paragon in Singapore, where you can find most of the Luxury Brands.

Just dressed in shorts, haha! So lazy to dress up! Sloppy tourists!

Guess what we saw?
This is banned in Singapore by the way. It was the very first time I heard about them, think they are some cult group that will go on this kind of "strike".

Bei wanted a photo with them so badly.

The toilet @ Taipei 101 is absolutely gorgeous!
They have a chillax corner at the washroom. Singapore has this too, but no gorgeous wallpaper like these!

Comfy nice chairs!

Bench outside the washroom for men to wait. lol

Ticket prices, if you are interested:

We bought the tickets but wasn't allowed to go up yet due to overwhelming response. I'm not sure if business is so good for them everyday but they have a certain quota of people to be allowed up. So, we had to wait till 1-2 batches of people get down before we were allowed up. Meanwhile, walked around, they have alot of shops around the waiting area to suck your money dry.

People queuing up. long long queue!

Finally OUR TURN!!!

We were given walkies that will take you through the history/background of every part of Taipei 101. So, you put the walkie to your ear and listen while you stroll from one part to the other.

Here's what you will see:

The bird's eye view:

Some stuffs to read, but all in mandarin as usual. But fret not, the walkies speak English.

Some coral stuffs which they are super enthusiastic about, they have A LOT of it man! And they have stores towards the end of your journey where you can buy coral display, coral jewellery, pearl jewellery, jade stuffs, plenty!!! And when I say many stores, I meant to say A LOT, you simply have to walked through what seemed like 50 stalls and Edwin became the prey. In the end, we bought jade necklaces, one each for our mums.

This touch screen guide is so cool. I kept playing with it. Left it with tons of my finger prints. haha!

This is the useful walkie!

Bei was so attentive and paying attentive to all the walkie is saying.

They are really proud of this.

He is still listening!!!

We went up the rooftop, super windy!

This is the thing that hold the building in place.

After the tour, we were famished!
Guess where we dine?

Ding Tai Fung! Opened up the Menu and got a shock, so cheap!!!
In the end, we ordered too much -.-"

For one that doesn't like pork, this is surprisingly my favourite!
I can eat these all by myself and feel fat in the end.

This is nice! But don't think we have this in Singapore!

They have lockers outside the washroom, which is something Singapore ought to have!
It's so useful for crazy shopping! Imagine u shop so much then u can dump all your shopping in the locker and go have a meal without having to lug them all around!

Found a free trip bus to the train station! haha, cheapo is good!

Part 2 of DAY 6 is about shopping! Not much pictures though but ain't u curious where I bought all my cheap steals? :)
