Why I won't vote for WP?

It took me some time to decide to post this.

I was still hesitating and thought I shouldn't post this,
since it isn't something that is good or worth publicising.

BUT
TONIGHT,
I've decided to go ahead with it.

Because you know why?

Victor Lye from PAP just knocked on our door,
telling us of the high dengue rate in our area and asking us to be more cautious.

He is not in charge of my area,
because my area is under WP.

and He was alone,
doing house visits.

There is no election going on either.

So what I saw was,
a hardworking PAP member,
who took the extra mile to remind residents of dengue,
which is something he does not have to do.

what more, all alone, going from door to door,
when he can be chilling at home with his family.

...

I guess I am a pretty objective person.

If I complain, and you do something about it,
then yes, of course I will vote for you.

And I would like to think that when I complain,
it means it is almost intolerable.

...

So here's the WP STORY:

The car park's lift has been down for a couple of days before this notice was pasted.

So, everyday we walked to the lift,
and went "Oh, lift's still down"

until 1 day we saw the notice
and went "Oh okay, it will be done on 29th".

But NO,
after the 29th, we went to the lift and it was not fixed.

Okay, never mind,
maybe on the 30th, if not they would have updated the notice or something.

Well, for the next few days,
the lift is STILL down and the notice is the same!

I have to carry a 10 kg baby up and down the carpark,
and I pay town council fees.

After 5 days of waiting,
I decided to get some help in escalating the repair works,
since it was pointless to call the town council
who just know how to say it will be fixed today (BUT IT WAS NOT!!!).

On 9 Dec, the lift is still down.
Oh well, I have ZERO faith in WP or Sylvia.

I just resigned to fate and climb up and down with the sack of rice my baby.

That is until I saw the below picture posted on the Hougang Parkview Facebook page:

WIN LIAO LOR,
APRIL 2015!

I felt so angry,
so I emailed again.

NO REPLY FROM DEAR SYLVIA,
YES, NOT A REPLY AT ALL.

then I saw on the papers that she's busy opposing PAP's policies.

OH SO BUSY AH!

Honestly,
do people vote for WP,
simply because they hate the government?
OR
they really believe that WP can make things work for them?

On the 15 Dec,
the town council decided to join in the fun:

The lift is already fixed, by the way!

If I remembered correctly,
it was either the end of Dec or start of Jan..

Oh wait,
was it first week of Jan 2015?

Ah whatever!

The whole point is not to rely on WP to make things work for you.

They have either too much on their plate or
they simply can't be bothered with you because
they know for sure, they will win the election for this area (yucks!).

Okay, please go share this,
so that we can have PAP over this area for the next election (hopefully please!).
