I am lazy, I know.

Good morning! Having a baby makes me have a better lifestyle, been waking up early...but sleeping later? Ok maybe not a healthy lifestyle afterall. 

Honeybun will be sleeping with Bei and me tonight and tomorrow. Why do I feel I'm gonna look like a zombie for cny? 

CARROT CAKE! That's Bei's brekkie but he eat until scared le so it's MY BREKKIE HO HO HO!

My brekkie was bean curd so it became my tea break instead. Ate alot today 

All fat fat one! Carrot cake, fried rice with a sunny side up, bean curd, agar agar (jelly).

What's for dinner? Hmm I mean supper? Seriously is there a term for dinner cum supper? There's a term for brekkie cum lunch so there should be one for dinner cum supper right?

Honeybun's sleeping now, finally after singing 30mins or was it 45 mins of bla bla black sheeps. 

Seems like it's getting tougher to get honeybun to zzz ever since she started zzz in the yao lan. Sighs. Her tinylove bed is getting too small for her. I'm so tempted to get her a mini cot but I know it will be a waste of money cos we already have a huge cot but it's too huge for our miserable small room. It can fit but there will be zero walking space.

Honeybun, u tahan a few more months k, we will have our own place and your own room will be able to accommodate your cot and possibly all the toys too. Oh and wardrobe. Damn I need a walk in wardrobe for her. Wondering if it's possible to have a combined walk in wardrobe for me, Bei and honeybun.

But I'm so anal, I dun want people to snoop through my stuffs esp my bags when picking out baby clothes. If I have a maid, she will be able to see all my treasures when she picks baby clothes, right? I have so many things I think I have at least 80 shoes, 10 pairs at Bei's place and remaining 70 pairs at my house. They have been waiting for me to bring them along to the new house. Sighs dunoo still can wear ma, been so long since I touched them.

And my bags, I wonder if they turned mouldy?  I think the one bag that is really worth my money is my lv speedy which I've used to death, literally! I need a bigger house (stares at Bei who is smiling at his pc, that man keeps on gaming, shakes head).

Big house or small house doesn't matter as long as we stick together as a family, must have love of course la!

Still no regrets choosing love over bread. I could have an easy life but I chose love knowing that it may get tough (Thank goodness not too tough yet, PRAISE THE LORD!).

Helper Rant #1

I needed to start the rant somewhere,

so I figure here's a good place.

Previously,

I rant it to Bei who then thinks that I'm picky and hard to please

*rolls eyes*

Then,

I realised that his dad also rants to him,

so I find Bei a little poor thing,

having to hear all our complains EVERYDAY.

So, today's:

RANT #1

I hung out my washed erm bra and panties out to dry.

While doing so, I looked down and saw a piece of kitchen towel,

which looks exactly like the ones the household uses.

It has obviously fell off from someone's bamboo pole.

(I wondered, is that ours?)

So I called the helper and ask her.

Me: "M, is that ours?"

Helper: "Oh, that's a towel la"

Me: "Is it ours?"

Helper: "Ya"

Me: "It dropped off the bamboo pole?"

Helper: "Ya la, dropped"

silent pause.

I was expecting her to go downstairs to pick it up or something.

silent pause.

Me: "You don't want to go and pick it up meh?"

Helper: "Aiya, never mind la."

Me: "HUH?!?!"

Helper: "that one old already one"

Vomit blood lor.

Old already then still waste water and wash for what?

Might as well just throw away in the first place?

Washed clean liao then drop it?!

How can a towel drop if you peg it properly?!

...
Did the same thing happened to my long-lost panties too?
Sighs.

Honeybun

I've just downloaded a photography app on my mobile and been editing baby's photos. 

Tsk tsk, I really ought to be zzz while my baby zzz instead of wasting my time on my mobile. 

This baby of mine certainly makes a lot of noises while sleeping (takes after the dad). 

She could be stretching loudly, whining, singing and gagging in her sleep. 

Sometimes it's really impossible to sleep while she sleeps 

cos I'm so paranoid, what if she vomits and chokes? 

Sighs, I better go sleep now cos it's night time 

which means it's Bei's shift of taking care of baby 

I can't wait for my mother in law to be back from the States to save us. 

I'm seriously considering finding a maid who is well, qualified to take care of babies. 

I mean she wouldn't be the sole caretaker of my baby 

but at least when both Bei and I are working and when my mil is not free, 

at least the maid can help out. 

If not, who is gonna take care of my honeybun?

I seriously need to earn more money. 

Hospital bills and a new house on the way. 

Don't know to be happy or sad that the house is coming so soon, 

our bank accounts are definitely not happy.

NO baby should go through this pain

Baby born with a fractured skull, broken spinal cord, on life support for 5 days, died.

Being a mummy now,

makes me wanna burst out crying after reading this.

In the past, I would just read and ya, feel sad about it

but I won't share it and definitely won't even blog about it.

But as a mum now,

I totally understand how your baby meant the world to you.

Protective,

and really only wanting the best for your baby.

No,

not a single baby should go through such ordeal,

no baby should!

I can't imagine the heart pain of the parents.

Just the thought of it makes me wanna cry.

How could such a happy occasion turned out to be a disaster?

Is the gynae even experienced enough?

2013 Recap

I had in mind to do a recap in 2013 with photos and all.

But the lazy bone in me is too lazy to take out my hard disk

and start retrieving photos of the past year like how a good blogger would.

So, words will do (as usual).

2013 has been well, life-changing.

2012 had been a good year 

cos I got married to a wonderful man.

But 2013 somehow beat 2012,

it is a better year

because I unlocked more achievements.

1. 

Got pregnant and giving birth to a baby girl,

which is what every mother would say,

life-changing.

2.

Officially a Certified Accountant (CA).

Stopped procrastinating and worked hard to be a CA,

I'm still amazed at how determined I was,

going to classes with a huge baby bump.

I guess at that point,

I was thinking,

it's now or never.

Once the baby's out,

no time for such (well, very true).

3.

Maldives

I was in love and still is in love with this amazing place.

Going to Maldives with the special someone is well, magical.

Indeed it is, since my baby is erm...made in Maldives.

That's about it,
I guess.

2014,
according to the Chinese beliefs,
it is a BAD BAD year for the Tigers.

I only have 4 goals for 2014.

I just realised that there's no more bags goals.
I used to want to buy a couple of bags in a year.
WTF I WAS SO MATERIALISTIC!
