Okay, here's the Dolphin's Blogspot!
We signed up for the Dolphin Excursion,
it was USD 70 per pax .
(If I remember correctly, ya, it's about 70)
The picture of the total bill is not in this laptop,
but I will share the bill picture at the very end of my Maldives entries!
$_$
If you are wondering why I am talking about bills,
well, that is because whatever you spent in Maldives,
they just get you to sign on a bill receipt for acknowledgement
and once your holiday is coming to an end,
they will send u a bill listing all the expenses, etc.
I like it this way,
because I don't have to be bringing cash around the beach,
or worry that the credit card will get lost while I jump into the waters.
On top of that,
after you book the excursion,
they will send u the tickets to it like a registration acknowledgement
and on it, it will state the time, date and venue to gather.
Here's me chillaxing at the gathering venue.
There's a gift shop for you to shop for souvenirs,
which you buy for people and they will simply just chuck aside.
Seriously.
They have ornaments (Zzzzz), keychains, you know that kind of stuffs.
AND IT IS MEGA EXPENSIVE!
I forgotten to bring a beach hat,
and Bei wanted to get me one,
BUT IT COSTS USD 50.
WTFFFFF!!!!!
Never mind, I can get tanned and save USD 50.
Is that ours?
Is that ours?
Going on board our ride!
Pretty pretty!
We embarked on the journey,
in search for dolphins!
What a beautiful island,
I cant help falling in love with it over and over again.
Passengers on board.
I'm the woman behind the successful man.
LOL
Bei is becoming darker and darker.
Bei and his toy!
So glad he's so into it,
cos he took a lot of photos..............of me.
LOL
Friendly staff on board offered to help us take not one picture,
but many many pictures!!
So naise!!
SERVICE IS AWESOME!!
Captain on board,
who was also extremely nice to us.
He even offered his wheel for us to take picture,
and even suggested the poses.
Bei's like a kid here,
grinning from ear to ear.
Cam-whoring while they sail in search of dolphins.
I was a little scared,
ok, very scared.
The staff on board persuaded me to go out to take a picture.
Waiting and waiting for them to search for dolphins,
it took so so long yet no sight of any dolphins.
Got bored,
so we went up to the upper deck,
hoping to spot dolphins.
The water is so deep!!!
If I fall in,
that's the end of me.
Bei taking photos of who?
Me!
I love love love love this photo soooo much!!
It suddenly turned into a yacht's photo shoot,
instead of a dolphins' excursion.
Looked and looked,
but no dolphins.
I think I was on the verge of tears
and whining non-stop to Bei.
Then,
we saw an amazing thing.
No, not dolphins.
Migrating birds,
so amazed that they can actually land on the sea!
And the sunset marks the end of the excursion.
If you are feeling cheated for having read so much
and no pictures of dolphins,
IMAGINE HOW I FELT!
If you are still clueless,
well, yes, I didnt see any dolphins.
The staffs tried their best,
going rounds and rounds
but no sight of any dolphins.
No refunds were made,
because it was 60% guarantee and 40% luck.
I have always always always wanted to witness dolphins swimming in the sea,
so I was beyond disappointed.
I cant explain how upset I am.
The celebratory burgers and champagne the staffs prepared,
wasn't for celebrating in the end.
It was for comforting.
If I ever go back to Maldives again,
I would still go for the Dolphin Excursion!
One must have FAITH!!!
