Why SAHM has a tougher job?

I just survived 5 days of SAHM cum work from home.

The first 4 days were manageable,

with the husband at home too.

I knew all along a SAHM has alot to do at home,

but I just didn't know it's THAT MUCH!

7:00 AM: 

Honeybun wakes up. 

I will make milk for her, while the husband watches over the 

crawling walking "I want to touch everything" monster.

7:30 AM:

Changed the diaper after she finishes her milk,

put her in her play yard,

switches on the TV (baby TV).

Walks away from a whiny baby (who has some separation anxiety LOL)

to cook her porridge.

I brush teeth, pee & wash the face.

Switches on the laptop to check emails.

8:00 AM:

Honeybun shitted so the washing butt and changing diaper goes~

Steamed some buns for Honeybun & maid to eat,

and freshly squeezed orange juice for her and the husband.

8:30 AM:

Feed the buns & orange juice to Honeybun.

9:00 AM:

Bath her or rather attempt to bath her.

Dress up the crawling monster and my back's gonna break already.

Feed her water and coax her to sleep in her yaolan.

9:30 AM:

Monster is asleep and I get to work.

In between, checking on porridge, blending purees if required.

11:30 AM:

Monster wakes up and lunch is served.

This is a nightmare,

she decided she hates porridge.

1:00 PM:

Gives on feeding porridge,

and substitute with bread.

1:30 PM:

Whiny monster playing with her toys in the play yard,

while I try to get some work done.

Oh, ya! I think I ate lunch too, I can't remember.

2:30 PM:

Gave up trying to work and go inside the play yard to accompany 

the separation anxiety monster,

who clings onto you and then walks away,

and clings onto you and watches TV and walks away,

and then running into your arms and patting your back,

and fake cough and demand to be patted back on her chest,

and rolls on your lap and looks at you charmingly.

3:00 PM:

Exited the play yard to make milk for her,

and the monster screamed like crazy.

Feed her milk and coax her to sleep again.

3:30 PM:

She fell asleep.

I get to work again and pour myself a cold drink.

5:00 PM:

Honeybun's up and bring her to walk around the house.

5:30 PM:

My back has broken.

Put her into the play yard and she screamed and whined.

I checked the emails again.

6:00 PM:

Dinner is served for the monster 

and it's nightmare again.

7:00 PM:

Gives up feeding and the maid happily eat the rest of the porridge.

7:30 PM:

Bathing time!

and attempt to dress wriggling monster.

8:00 PM:

Play in bed time!

8:30 PM:

Feed milk and monster zzz FINALLY!

9:00 PM:

I have a life now,

go back to working (if I haven't finish for that day),

read a little bible,

checked instagram, facebook, personal emails and it is midnight.

Time to sleep!

FRIDAY

(NO HUSBAND AROUND TO HELP!)

Honeybun decided to shit 4 times,

nap only 1 hour,

and I couldn't get any work done.

And the maid give me pattern,

said her eyes pain

and the current eye solution we gave her to use is not good.

Damn it and tell me she wanna buy other eye solution!

FUCK! HOW TO GO OUT!

LAO NIANG NEED TO WORK AND TAKE CARE OF THIS BABY!

In the end, digged out my personal eye drop and gave her.

TA MA DE,

still feedback to me that it is very good and nice for the eyes!

THAT IS EXPENSIVE DE WHAT!!!

ALL THIS TIME,

talking while I'm trying my best to coax the monster to ZZZ!

I'm so glad I'm going back to work,

honestly.

and so glad my parents in law are back!

I don't know how some mummies can cope and yet, 

do the household chores themselves.

They are really really amazing!

Online shopping!

Shopped at Redmart yesterday for the husband's Coke Zero (12 bottles, to be exact). This is gonna be his 2014 birthday present HAHA! Since he said he doesn't want anything for his birthday, I figured food and beverages will never go wrong HAHA! Also ordered his all time favorite Nissin curry seafood cup noodles (his mom gonna kill me). We can NEVER find this in any supermarket in Singapore, not sure why but Redmart saves the day!

Shopped at Redmart again today because my sister just introduced Goon diapers to me, which she claimed to be the same quality as Merries but cheaper (erm, about 10 cents or 15 cents per piece, wtf I'm such an auntie). So I ordered 4 packs to try. Arissa has been a Merries baby since birth because my sister said Merries is the best so okay, use Merries only! Arissa's room is now officially a diapers and toys storage room.

I have like 3 cartons of pants diaper and a couple packs of tape diaper. This diaper dollar average is getting a little too much, lol.

Shopped at iherb for vitamins, 1sunscreen powder, snacks for Sky and hot chocolate drink for the husband (which I decided this will be part of the birthday present HAHA!) 

In the past, online shopping means clothes, shoes and accessories. Now, it means toys, diapers and groceries! 

Lol this is called the aging process!

Best place to have Malay food (air conditioned some more oh!)

The good Malay food are usually in hot greasy places. 

Maybe that's why I never enjoy Malay food.

BUT but now 

it's gonna change BECAUSE there's a place that is air-conditioned!!!

It's extremely affordable for such finger licking food! 

You can dine for 2 for just $10, no kidding man!

The must try is the squid, extremely tender 

Baby Sah, who is half Malay says that the chicken is awesome! 

She said the proper way is to add even more berlachan chilli.

She did and fed me 1 mouth,

I think she was trying to kill me or choke me seriously!

I think it's already spicy enough the way it is originally!

Perfect half-boiled eggs,

cooked to perfection!

I know this is weird,

but please order them!

It's not too sweet which is perfect.

I've been digging (literally!) them EVERY SINGLE NIGHT,

gonna grow fatTTTT.

It comes in a styrofoam box, 

and I dunoo why it's so so difficult to scoop the ice cream man.

I literally had to dig it out,

I mean scoop it out for a good 15 mins just to get a cup of ice cream.

I hope 1 day,

they come in bars,

so that I can just rip open the packaging and nom it.

My baby has the same head size as a going on 2 years old baby. Should I be worried or what? Maybe I should be happy, it must be the brain size. Ah, my baby is a smart girl. Lol

My life with a baby has been so fulfilling.

Hugging her to sleep in the late,

smelling her breath and her hair makes me feel very lucky.

How in the earth did I manage to give birth to such a little angel?
