Day 1 of post delivery

It is TRUE!

The 2nd labour is indeed easier than the first! Not only that, I don't feel tired after giving birth, wtf except for panting la!

The 1st labour, I totally knocked out after giving birth and slept so well, so drained until when the nurses pushed the baby over, I was like so goggly and said I needed to zzz.

But this 2nd labour, I can't even fall asleep until the morning 6am, faint and slept for 2 hours nia! Diao, hopefully tonight I can finally zzz properly. If not, when I check out and return home, I can forget about sleeping totally lor..

The hub went home and brought back Logan ginger tea, which I was looking forward to..Boy! This time round, maybe ginger cheaper or good ginger season, my mil put in a lot of ginger, I was burning the whole night after drinking yesterday lol, ma cham drinking the soup of fiery noodles. But it's good, cos i perspired a lot and smell stinky now but I think I perspire some fats out lol. Okay I'll go drink somemore of the spicy oil, oops I mean tea..

Arissa honeybun is coming to visit me later! So excited to show her didi! Kept my bread and biscuit from breakfast to bribe her later, food always work with this lady! 

Back to watching repeated movies on HBO! Seriously they need to update the movies on a daily basis la, How can yesterday's movies be the same as today's movies! 

Oh ya! TMC has free wifi, I just realized!

Damn it, I've send so much media yesterday and bound to exceed my data, geez! Now with 2 kids, need to be more auntie and make use of free wifi haha! Need to inform the hub too, who exceeds his data every month, tsk tsk!

This is it!

I'm lying in the delivery suite with contractions coming on and off every 6 mins. Pain on a scale of 0-10 is 4. 

Most people said the contractions is the most painful, but to me, the cutting of the vaginal is the MOST painful and oh the sewing back.

That's my greatest fear, and this is the last time to go through this (hopefully! Lol)

Okay, Gynae came and said lets get on with this..broke the water bag and now gonna take epidural (greatest invention for women)..Baby Alonso, see you soon!

Top 10 differences between the first and second pregnancy

1. Diet

1st pregnancy - What diet? Whatever the baby wants to eat, I ate. 

Old folks say to satisfy all cravings if not the baby will come out to be a glutton. 

OK, point taken! EAT ALL I WANT!

2nd pregnancy - Thou shall not eat.

No sweet stuffs!

I am not going to make the same mistake of putting on more than 20 kg!

2. Shopping

1st pregnancy - ALL SOOOO CUTE!!! BUY ALL!!!

It's a girl and a girl can never have too many clothes.

Moreover, I don't have any pass-down baby girl clothes.

So, I bought all the PINK one can possibly find.

Why is there so many things to buy for a baby girl?

2nd pregnancy - Thou shall not spend unwisely.

I have 2 nephews, so there's plenty of baby boy's clothes.

And when I say plenty, it means it is enough for at least 5, okay maybe 10 baby boys!

My sister is 100 times crazier than me.

I bought less than 20 pieces of baby boy clothings.

So, I splurged on 1 jacket

which I am still feeling very guilty.

1 tiny jacket for the price of 1 kitchen set. 

Okay, never mind.

3. Medication / Supplements

1st pregnancy - I ate those pills faithfully.

2nd pregnancy - If I can remember, then I take them.

4. Transportation

1st pregnancy - When the husband can't send me or pick me up from work, I took the taxi.

2nd pregnancy - For the 1st and 2nd trimester, if there's no car, I took the bus (sometimes).

For the 3rd trimester, I took the taxi (because apparently some working adults need to be seated on the priority seats to play some lame iphone games).

5. Finance

1st pregnancy - That Chanel bag is nice! So are the earrings!

2nd pregnancy - If I buy this Chanel bag, I can buy so many shoes and clothes for the kids.

6. Push Present

1st pregnancy - 1 Chanel bag please!

2nd pregnancy - I need no Chanel. I want lasik, so that 

I can wake up, open my eyes and see my kids.

7. Husband

1st pregnancy - 

Wife: I am thirsty.

Husband: What drink do you want?

2nd pregnancy - 

Husband: I am thirsty.

Wife: What drink do you want?

8. Sleep

1st pregnancy - Sleep all I want.

2nd pregnancy - My 1st baby kid needs me, I have to wake up now.

9. Confinement Preparation

1st pregnancy - Read up online intensively,

listen to everyone's views.

2nd pregnancy - I've been there, done that. Nothing to prepare for.

10. Birth Preparation

1st pregnancy - 

Hospital bag packed.

Downloaded at least 20 hospital bag checklists just in case I missed out anything.

2nd pregnancy - 

RELAX lah,

I will pack it later~

I'm a Merries diaper hogger!

This is the current storeroom situation.

When there's a merries diapers sale, you whack! 

Do not hesitate, you will regret later when U are paying normal prices for it. 

I live by this principle 

Anyway, I've an excuse for hogging. 

Well, if Arissa outgrow these, her brother and nephew can use them!

I told him for the next birthday or next kid,

Back to haunt

Sighs!

This 2nd pregnancy, I'm very conscious about the weight gain because if it's rocket high like Arissa's time, I thought I have to go through that diabetics test again. So all in all for the past few months, I've only gained 5 kgs which is amazing lol, I can be Japanese liao! 

But but but the Gynae said I still gonna go for the diabetics test, Fml cos I had gestational diabetics during my 1st pregnancy, siannnnnnnnn...

So I spammed all the durians and sweet drinks yesterday in anticipation of the tests next month which requires fasting (starve Preggy woman to death!), 3 blood withdrawal and sucky drinking of glucose!

Thank God that I only want 2 kids and just nice, 1 girl 1 boy! Okay I need to count my blessing instead of whining non stop!

Hopefully my weight gain can remain constant and the total weight gain is just 10 kg instead of the previous 20kg weight gain during 1st pregnancy! 

After this pregnancy, I can work hard to be hot mama lol. Gonna sign up all the nonsense facial and body treatments and do lasik and finally, focus on my career! 

Underwater world vs Sea Aquarium

Today, we went to the Underwater World!

When I was a kid, I used to go there with my family and I loved the moving travelator. 

I went to the Sea Aquarium with Bei's family before and found that it is so so boring, because they had only 1 station for interactive! And it was just to touch a couple of starfish and it was super crowded, seriously! 

Sea Aquarium is a huge ass place for tourists, people to go dating, or simply fish photographers -.-"

There's nothing much for families with little kids..

As a parent with a little kid myself, it is important to go to places that my honeybun will enjoy. So the husband suggested Underwater World! Well, we all know that the underwater world is like past season already cos the latest thing is sea aquarium. I went there with not much expectations though I remembered that there's a couple of stations for u to touch the fishes (interactive yo!)

Underwater world is so so much smaller and emptier (less crowded I like!).

They have stations for u to touch stingrays, feed stingrays, touch fishes, feed fishes! I find these more interesting than touching starfish! 

The good fathers teaching their daughters!

You can also pay a few dollars to feed huge arse stingrays like this one:

You are supposed to hold the food in between your fingers and put your hand into the water and the stingray will eat it from your fingers. Scary shit cos before the stingray eats it from your fingers, you freak out and release the food in the water lol! That's what our friends did! 

Bei wanted to bring honeybun to see fishes because honeybun has been saying Fish! Fish! whenever she sees one on the tv and its cartoon lol! 

Saw a peacock and some birds. Honeybun kept on pointing at them 'bird bird'! 

Went for the dolphin show at dolphin lagoon! Seals and pink Dolphins! 

Took a few pictures only cos I was busy watching the show to snap pics!

So sad to see that everyone is choosing to go boring Sea Aquarium instead!

We are so shagged out after the underwater world and dolphin lagoon that we called it a day and decided to utilize the trick eye museum tickets another day!

Well, I'm pregnant again...

Angie's factory productivity rate is pretty good, haha! After this production, the factory operation will cease, thank you very much! God blessed me with a baby boy! Oh boy, I'm so lucky to have the next of both worlds, 1 girl and 1 boy, 好I've never been so happy seeing a dick lol. To illustrate it, here's a picture for you!

Actually deep down, I still can't believe that I'm so blessed, and I'm so paranoid that the Gynae is wrong. Gonna ask the Gynae to zoom in the dick during the next check up!

She's becoming obsessed about hello kitty, so much so that when she sees one, she will shout "kittyyyyyyy".
